Gradients

Gradients
a pixely gradient from white to black (right to left) with rainbow colors making up a sub-gradient between green and red (top to bottom)

I made twenty something gradients to explore what I like about colors morphing into each other, and unfortunately after all of this effort to uncover exactly what I like about it - I haven't learned what I sought out to. But I did make a bunch of cool gradients that I may use elsewhere.

I love watching multiple colors flow into each other organically with texture. Sometimes they can be more textural than others:

a pixely gradient from green to blue to indigo to pink to yellow to orange

Sometimes they can be more colorful than others:

a pixely gradient from dark lavender to pink to orange to yellow to a tan green

Sometimes the gradient reminds me of paint chips epoxied to a garage floor:

a pixely gradient from dark green to yellow (top to bottom) over a red background

Sometimes, they remind me of the deep ocean - churning, bubbling, and boiling:

a pixely gradient from aquamarine to indigo to red (top to bottom)

Sometimes they're pleasant to look at:

a pixely gradient from light pink to dark pink to red to indigo to dark blue and purple (top to bottom)

Sometimes they're not:

this gradient is all messed up from white to pink to yellow to orange to red (top to bottom) with heavy pixely texture.

Sometimes they remind you of another gradient you just made a little bit ago - and that's fine. It's still a little different:

a pixely gradient from white with rainbow pixels to mostly solid red

Sometimes they're warm:

a pixely gradient from ochre to dark yellow to pink (left to right)

And sometimes you get tired of making so many damn gradients - there are more but at this moment in time I like them less than those that I've placed upon this page. For some reason the gradients you see here aren't as detailed as how I see them in PS but they'll do for now. Thank you for looking at some of my gradients - these were a lot of fun and I'm going to create some more. Stay tuned folks.
