melting into it

melting into it

i’ll put my long paw down when

the chainring slips on the

slot machine of life again

next time - I swear next time

-

the sun shines out of my

pocket from a cattle’s pineal gland

and it might show me the way

sometime - I guess some time

-

when golf ball maggots

start forming lines for

the next thought they

can suck dry

-

don’t be shy - it’ll happen sometime

-

i’ll put on my Monday sunglasses

and when I go out of print

they’ll still be there

letting light in

*Sometimes

-

and maybe when

it rains I’ll melt into a carafe

filled with apple juice

and water my plants

This image is inspired by my dear friend Matt Oberski. I love the way that they make spooky imagery for the digital age. A lot of their work involves glitched out images and layers and such. Its really cool! - Check out their work.

This is a persons face melting - but they don't seem too concerned. Or do they? It's hard to tell - regardless it's unnerving to watch another's face melt before your eyes. What do you do? Will you ask them if they're alright? Will you tell them that they're freaking you out a bit? Will you simply say 'What's up'?

No matter what action you take from this point - make sure to gather your marbles and stick your toes in the marmalade my friends. For today is another chance for you to be who you want to be.
